Richard Gannett was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. He attended the Brookline Public Schools, and received his undergraduate degree from University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Massachusetts, where he was a member of the University of Massachusetts Crew. He received his law degree from The John Marshall Law School, Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Gannett is licensed to practice law in all State and Federal Courts in Illinois and Massachusetts. He is a second generation Massachusetts attorney whose family has practiced trial law in Boston, Massachusetts since 1937.
